The Sisters’ Forum is a gender enhancement annual programme initiated by the Ghana Muslim Academy in 1994. The core essence of the programme was to create a platform for Young Muslim Women in the country to brainstorm on pertinent issues affecting the holistic development of the Muslim woman. The forum is also used to mentor Muslim girls to aspire higher in all national endeavours. Since 1994 when the programme was initiated, it has instilled confidence in a lot of Muslim girls as well as encouraged them to aspire higher in life. The programme has also highlighted the panacea to some of the challenges facing the Muslim woman.
